Let’s Pretend We Don’t Have An Expiration Date

Let’s pretend we don’t have an expiration date. Everything that is happening now may come to an end, and it may not. So let’s give our all when we participate in something without worrying about the consequences. We close our eyes, concentrate and come into contact with our inner child. Shall we begin?

We pretend there is no end and we live in an infinite world so that we can see beyond the horizon. Without an expiration date, our fears will disappear. This will make it easier to make ourselves visible. Moreover, it will give certainty that all our old dreams will come true. We will only see the light at the end of the tunnel, because more than enough good things are coming our way.

Let’s also imagine that we are capable of only doing our best. Not because we are afraid that things are just finite, but because we really want it and we enjoy it. At work, in your spare time, with your family or friends — and when it’s just the two of us. Let’s lose ourselves in love as if today is our last day. We can sing as if the song never ends and dance without stopping, as if we never get old.

So, think about it: a life with no expiration date or end. How about making our inner child believe and let our outer adult do the work?  After all, they are both part of the same person. And what if we imagine that there are no boundaries or limitations? That we always focus on how things are going and never on how it ends? Let’s play without assuming an ending.

Dancing without an expiration date

You cannot start something with fear of its end. Even though you know how it ends, you still have to make yourself visible. The important thing here is not that it ends, but how it proceeds. We sometimes forget that. So we should just show ourselves as if there is no expiration date. The ‘why’ of our story can shape the ‘what’ at the end.

Life is constantly turned upside down and fun things happen every day that require you to change your plans. So don’t give up and keep trying, even if you  think you know what’s going to happen. Let things surprise you and embrace the uncertainty that comes with it. Something magical will forge new paths towards your destiny.

Sometimes the expiration date writes itself. However, remember that every choice we make, no matter how big, equals a new direction. So let’s allow ourselves new beginnings and accept unexpected side effects. By enjoying every moment, we can let ourselves be carried away and give the best of ourselves. In the end, the only thing we can really cling to is the present.

An expiration date is for a product, not a life

You reach your sell-by date when you die inside, not when you stop breathing. You set your own expiration date when you live a routine every day, or when you try to prepare for the unexpected. As a result, nothing can surprise you anymore. You spoil, as it were, when you don’t know how to appreciate the little things in your daily life.

The magic of this game is that you know the rules and how it starts, but you can’t guess how it ends. Everything happens during the game itself. You can start over, lose or win, but giving up is never the best option.

That’s why we challenge you to play, to start something you can’t predict the end of. If you do find out while you’re on the road, don’t get carried away by this. We challenge you to create something new every day and appreciate what every day brings. We challenge you to let yourself be, to change your plans and start each day with the aforementioned ignorance.

Let’s pretend we don’t have an expiration date. Let’s hope every day is better than the day before — and let’s enjoy it as if it were happening for the first time. That way we can be sure to give it our  all
